Nearly one million Britons are collectively planning to borrow £1.4 billion to pay for plastic surgery, a survey showed.
A boob job is the most popular procedure, with 27% of people wanting breast augmentation, while 25% are planning to have a tummy tuck and 17% say they want a nose job, according to high street bank Abbey.
More than half of people who are planning to have cosmetic surgery said it was to improve their confidence, although 32% said it was for medical reasons, 2% said they were being egged on by a friend and 1% said it was to stop people teasing them about a particular part of their body.
