Snappy response

Soldiers, militia and forest rangers are hunting for up to 5,000 crocodiles that escaped from a farm during flooding in central Vietnam.

They still do not know how many of the animals got out of the state-owned tourist attraction after surging water knocked down part of the fence.

So far soldiers have shot dead three and recaptured five others, and villagers have recaptured three more.
