Grenade grabber

An armed robber’s weapon of choice for a rampage across Milwaukee was a hand grenade.

The 49-year-old ran police ragged as he first held up a hotel in the centre of the city, then tried to kidnap a university student.

Police eventually cornered him in a garage and discovered the grenade was a dummy.
