Santa fun run
More than 2,000 runners dressed as Father Christmas took to the streets of Edinburgh.
People of all ages dressed as Santas and elves to take part in The Great Scottish Santa Run, a 1.5km fun run around West Princes Street Gardens.
Participants were raising funds for Scottish children's charity When You Wish Upon a Star, dedicated to making the wishes of seriously ill Scottish children come true.
