An estate agent who took a prospective buyer to look around a house found its owner dead in a closet.

The male agent quickly ushered the viewers out of the £350,000 house in the village of Quorn, Leicestershire, after they stumbled across the body hanging from a belt inside a walk-in cupboard in the main bedroom.

He then called the police and contacted the man’s family, and the house was immediately taken off the market.
