Mr Men shake-up

The much-loved world of the classic children’s characters Mr Men is to be shaken up in a fresh series including new Mr Rude, who speaks with a French accent.

Mr Rude appears in an internet game on the official mrmen.com website telling viewers how rude he can be and then blowing a raspberry.

The show - with "fast-paced physical humour and verbal wit", according to its makers - will feature four new characters including Little Miss Daredevil, based on a performance stunt rider, who wears a crash helmet, white heels and a rocket pack.
