Seat memento

A married couple who met on a packed commuter train bought the seats where they originally sat to mark the moment which changed their lives.

Jonathan Roberts, 57, and his wife Jacqueline, 54, were standing on a South West Trains (SWT) service from Gillingham in Dorset to London’s Waterloo station when a guard moved them into a first class carriage and told them to sit down.

They sat next to each other on seat numbers five and six and began a romance which ended in marriage.
