US military suppliers admitted they accidentally sent four triggers for nuclear missiles to Taiwan in 2006.
The air force base in Wyoming was supposed to dispatch a supply of helicopter batteries.
Last year an air force bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear-tipped cruise missiles and flown across the country without the crew being told.
