Lightning strike
A teenager has died in hospital after been struck by a bolt of lightning.
The 14-year-old was injured during a freak thunder storm in a south-west Dublin suburb on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesman for MeteoGroup, the weather division of the Press Association, said that in the UK there are an average of 30 to 60 deaths from lightning strikes every year.
