A man was arrested for brandishing a rusty pirate's sword at Macy's flagship department store in Manhattan.
Police said the 29-year-old man told them he was carrying the curved sword because he was a member of a kickball team whose members often wore pirate-themed costumes.
The man insisted he was on his way to a game when he was arrested.
