White lines
Painters marking out a cycle path have veered from the straight and narrow - to the bewilderment of riders.
Two white lines marking the route along a pavement in King’s Hedges Road, Cambridge, suddenly take a swerve.
A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesman said the move was intended to guide cyclists away from a signpost, but he did not know why the lines did not swerve away from other identical posts.
