Drummer told 'beat it'
An "irritating" drummer has been told to beat it by fed-up council staff.
Busker Graeme Conway has been barred for life from playing in public anywhere in Newcastle amid claims his relentless rhythms on his African djembe drum have made life a misery for shopkeepers and people living near his regular pitch.
Following a series of complaints, he has been silenced by a noise abatement order.
