Madonna the musical
A singing Mary will make her debut this month when a musical on the life of the mother of Jesus has its world premiere at the Vatican.
Mary Of Nazareth - A Continuing Story is an Italian production sponsored by the Vatican.
There have been movies and plays on the Madonna, as well as famous pieces of music dedicated to her, but this is thought to be the first musical on her life.
