Bombs away
A police station reception was evacuated after a member of the public tried to hand in a live Second World War grenade.
The station in Lansdown Road, Cheltenham, was cleared after a concerned citizen brought in the grenade found at an address in Longlevens, Gloucester, nine miles away.
Bomb experts were called to destroy the device in a controlled explosion.
