Off the wagon

Around 200 crates of beer fell from a delivery lorry, forming a slippery lake that disrupted traffic for more than an hour in Germany.

Munich police said the truck was taking the wheat beer from the Bavarian capital to a neighbouring town when retaining straps broke.

Traffic was later restored but the brewery saw £7,500 swilled down the drains.
