Tall story
A demolition team has begun knocking down a £600,000 new house after council planners ruled it was 2ft too tall.
Builder Stephen Woodfinden-Lewis, 49, was ordered by Stockport Council to either make alterations to his new mansion - or the house would have to go.
After a four-year legal wrangle, a demolition team has now begun taking the house down.
