Plunge survival

A teenager is lucky to be alive after falling 60 feet down a cliff on to rocks, the Coastguard said.

The 18-year-old, believed to be from Birmingham, was on holiday in Cornwall when he fell down the cliff at Newquay.

The man, who has not been identified, fell after he was seen climbing with friends up the face at Porth Island.
