Council workers warned they could be sacked for not wearing underwear or deodorant

Council workers in a Florida city have been warned they could be sacked for failing to use deodorant or not wearing underwear.

Under a strict new dress code, employees at Brooksville City Council have been instructed to observe personal hygiene rules including wearing undergarments at all times.

“Sexually provocative” clothes are out, as are piercings anywhere other than in the ears. Offenders can be fired, the new code warns. The new rules were agreed at a city council vote.
