Estonian shipping line gives free lifetime travel to a baby born on a cruise ferry en route from Sweden to Estonia

Estonian shipping line Tallink says it will give free lifetime travel to a baby born on a cruise ferry en route from Sweden to Estonia last week.

Spokeswoman Luulea Laane says an Estonian woman gave birth to a girl on June 11 with assistance from the Baltic Queen’s doctor and other medical personnel among the 1,000 passengers travelling between Stockholm and Tallinn. The baby and mother are doing well.

Ms Laane said the the Tallinn-based company decided to honour the birth by granting the baby free travel for life on the Baltic Queen, which was launched in April. The parents are also entitled to substantial discounts.
