Magistrates gave an offender a night off his curfew so that he could go out drinking on his birthday.
Steven Webley, 21, of Coleford, Gloucestershire, told magistrates that his 7pm to 7am curfew - imposed for a public order offence - would curtail his plans to celebrate his 22nd birthday.
He applied to the bench at Gloucester Magistrates’ Court for a night off the strict rules of the curfew imposed so he could go out and have a drink with his cousin.
