Road renamed after rabbi after neo-Nazis adopt highway section

A Missouri neo-Nazi group has adopted a section of road to clean as part of a litter prevention scheme.

The state said it was unable to reject the group’s application, saying membership could not be denied because of a group’s political beliefs.

Instead politicians intend to rename that section of road after Abraham Joshua Heschel, a rabbi who narrowly escaped the Nazis in the Second World War.
