'Judi Dench factor' always sparks swearing complaints

The James Bond movie Quantum of Solace prompted complaints about bad language because of the “Judi Dench factor”, the British Board of Film Classification has said.

Dame Judi prompts complaints every time she swears in a film, no matter what rating it is given, the BBFC said.

The film, which was rated 12A, prompted only one complaint about violence, the BBFC said in its annual report, and two from viewers who mistook a shadow on a woman’s leg for her genitalia.
