Members of a Saudi family are trying to sue a genie for theft and harassment.
They have filed a lawsuit in Shariah court accusing the genie of leaving them threatening voicemails, stealing mobile phones and throwing stones at them when they leave their home of 15 years, near the holy city of Medina.
The head of the family said: “We began hearing strange noises. In the beginning, we didn’t take it seriously, but after that, stranger things started happening and the children got really scared when the genie began throwing stones.”
