A tractor driver walked away with a “ringing in his ears” after his machine was hit by lightning in a pea field.
Father-of-two Simon Jennings, 46, of Foulsham, Norfolk, was working near his home when an electric storm broke.
The electrical system of the £100,000 Fendt 936 tractor was destroyed as sparks flew and the cab filled with smoke. But Mr Jennings was unmarked.
