Two employees at a supermarket in Denver have been fired for trying to stop a shoplifter by themselves.
Jared Bergstreser and Colin Trapp chased after the suspect and tackled him outside the store.
Both were sacked by Best Buy corporate officials for “failing to cease pursuit of a shoplifter once they exit the store”.
