A school has banned its pupils for wearing shirts and ties because they were wearing them so untidily.
St Peter’s Church of England Aided School, in Exeter, Devon, scored top marks in two recent independent school inspections.
But headteacher Mark Perry said the sloppily-worn shirts and ties had to go despite his own personal preference for the traditional schoolwear.
