Costumed fans of the cult musical The Rocky Horror Show braved the cold to smash the Guinness world record for the largest Time Warp dance.
Organisers said 1,570 people took part in the record attempt on Brighton seafront in East Sussex, simultaneously pelvic thrusting their way into the record books.
The show’s writer Richard O’Brien was said to be “over the moon” after leading the mass dance off near the West Pier at midday following an hour of intensive rehearsals.
