Serbia’s president, sports minister and head of the country’s football federation were all charged with breaking the law by drinking alcohol at a stadium.
Boris Tadic told a judge he did not know it was illegal to sip champagne during a toast and took full responsibility.
Mr Tadic and the others had been celebrating Serbia’s 5-0 victory over Romania in October.
