Stunning riposte
ONCE again Bellamy shows up the press and the baying tiny-minded idiots at Newcastle who seem to think anyone cares what he does off the pitch.
I must commend Bellamy on a stunning riposte to those that pass judgement on his character and name.
The only place anyone has the right to judge Bellamy is on the pitch and for his season so far, he cannot be found wanting.
He proved on Wednesday night that he is a big player with staggering pace and constant running.
And he gives the team a bite in attack. We seem to appreciate what he brings to the team, rather than being suckered in by Souness.
George Dee (New Brighton)
Fighting spirit
IT'S really great to secure a 2-1 win at Nou Camp but even more significant and important is the ability to fight back from a goal down.
We must maintain that kind of fighting spirit coupled with the teamwork for all our remaining games.
Chirs King (Childwall)
Immense duo
ONE word for both Momo and Carra: Immense.
Bellamy shades the man of the match for me but without their displays we'd have got little from the game.
Ron Sillett (Anfield)
Only half-time
THERE were a few players who didn't seem totally at the races to me but they all, at some point, contributed importantly and never stopped trying.
Well done Liverpool but remember it is only half-time.
Phil Michaelson (Wirral)
