HARRY REDKNAPP played a right blinder last week.
The news that he was seriously considering the offer of a lucrative move to Ukraine was enough to spark Queens Park Rangers into action.
After all, where was the logic in sacking your manager on a Friday morning before travelling to play Manchester United the following day?
In replacing Mark Hughes with Harry, I believe QPR now have a 50-50 chance of staying up. Nothing more.
Harry will take a few weeks to have a feel to see who really wants to play for him.
I don’t think the dressing room at QPR is a great place at the moment and there are too many players there who have come for just the money.
But Harry has as good a chance of any of keeping them up. Particularly if he can get his players playing as well as he did last week.
