CHESTER CITY are hopeful striker Chris Holroyd and midfielder Tony Grant will be fit for Saturday’s visit to promotion-chasing Wycombe Wanderers.
Holroyd has been sidelined in because of an ankle problem, while Grant has a hamstring injury.
Both players have returned to training, and if they don’t suffer any adverse reactions.
Winger Ritchie Partridge is a doubt with a hamstring injury.
Wycombe currently lie in the final play-off placing in League Two and they need the points to ensure their inclusion in the end of season promotion competition.
Tickets for Chester’s first-ever visit to Shrewsbury’s new ground, The New Meadow, on Saturday, April 26, are still on sale at the Deva Stadium.
Meanwhile, Chester’s Reserves two outstanding fixtures have been re-arranged. The Pontins League match at Bury is on Monday, April 21, while the youngsters travel to Rochdale on Saturday in their outstanding FA Youth Alliance fixture.
CHESTER reserves lost 2-1 against Wrexham reserves last night.
