Cycling: Victory for Deane

CYCLING: Eamonn Deane of Bournemouth Jubilee won the Mersey Roads Club RTTC National Championship 24-hour with a total of 501.04 miles.

He covered 256.71 miles in 12hours and recorded a time of 4 hours 21 minutes 32 seconds for 100 miles.

John Warnock, Twickenham CC was second with 475.34 miles, 251.93 for 12 hours and completed the first 100 miles in 4.17.03. Jose Pinon Shaw, Preston Wheelers was third with 472.79 miles.
