Tae Kwon-Do: Jay, Jasmine and Callum add to haul

STEFANIE FOSTER wasn’t alone in representing Liverpool Tae Kwon-Do Club at the eighth Open World Championships in Birmingham.

Jay McGinn won a bronze medal in the men’s black belt light-heavyweight division and Jasmine Wahid achieved a bronze in the ladies’ WTF-style black belt lightweight division.

Callum Gough, 10, fought very well in the boys’ blue belt peewee division to reach the quarter-finals.

He just missed out on the medals, but he did the club proud with some fantastic fights.

The Liverpool Tae Kwon-Do club has classes in Kensington, Halewood and West Derby.
