Sailing: Brace for Partington

THE first joint series involving Liverpool Yacht Club and Pwllheli Sailing Club was completed with some excellent close racing in a steady westerly breeze.

William Partington in Wil2Win enjoyed two wins in IRC Class One to claim the series prize ahead of Molissa (Paddy Atkinson).

Class Two honours in the last races of the year went to Mike Inman in Musketeer and Di-Rich (Andy Napper) with Inman taking the overall prize from Poppy (John Roberts).

She-Fever finished Class Three with two successes and overall victory.
