Cycling: Brailsford wins

CYCLING: Dave Brailsford, Horwich CC, won the main event of the Liverpool Mercury Presentation Cyclo Cross.
He completed the eight laps at Beacon Country Park, Skelmersdale, in 54 minutes 05 seconds. Mark Leyland, Wyre Forest CRC, was second, two minutes, 45 seconds later and Lune RCC's Scott Morley was third. another two minutes and one second later. Nikki Harris, Private Member, was the winning lady, beating three-quarters of the field in this category.
