CYCLING: Phil Guy, North Shropshire Wheelers was crowned Group Champion on standard as well as actual at the VTTA Merseyside Group 46th Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation, held at the Cheshire View, Christleton.
His team-mate Christine Roberts was first in the BAR, is group ladies champion on standard and actual, and finished second in the ladies section of the 4 National Distance BAR. John Maddox, East Liverpool Wheelers received the Fitzpatrick Cup with a plus of 4 minutes 12 seconds.
