Sailing: Thomas at the Max

LIVERPOOL Yacht Club had an 11-strong turn out for their latest racing at Pwllheli in sunshine conditions.

There was a light wind at the start which later increased to nine knots.

Neil Thomas in Mighty Max was first to break clear and won unchallenged in IRC Class One with Jenevieve (Mark Blanchard) the runner-up.

Class Two was taken by Mike Inman in Musketeer just ahead of Quattro (Steve Harrison) after a fine duel.
