Brighton rocked

NEW BRIGHTON found it difficult to come to terms with this latest North Two West defeat.

It was a game they dominated for long periods. They built up a 24-7 interval lead but instead of going on to win handsomely, they gifted their opponents several tries.

Marcus Coast produced some telling breaks at centre and Alan Hesketh was always busy at scrum-half.

Coast created an early try for Greg Hughes. Stephen Dean converted and added a penalty.

Lotu Neuneutau crossed and Dean and converted before Coast dashed 30 metres to score, with Dean again adding the extras.

But then it all went wrong with only a second-half Dean penalty added on.
