Roberts may miss out

FOLLOWING their 28-12 loss to league leaders Burnage last week, Ormskirk face bottom of the table, Winnington Park on Saturday.

Having faced some of the bigger teams in South Lancs/Cheshire One in the last month, Saturday’s match is the first in a series of must-win games for the Green Lane men.

Winnington Park has not won in the league this season and Ormskirk are under pressure to win to prevent getting dragged into a relegation battle.

The starting XV is expected to stay the same although open-side flanker, Glyn Roberts, may miss out after splitting his ear against Burnage.
