Waterloo set for drop

WATERLOO, who have more or less accepted relegation at the end of the season, will be shedding few tears that they will no longer need to travel to places such as Cornwall to fulfil what has become a financially impossible fixture list for most clubs.

A drop down to a lower level of regional rugby next season would be in the best interests of not only Waterloo but others who find an excessive travel budget an unnecessary burden.

NEXT GAME: Waterloo v Cinderford, Saturday, December 20, EDF Energy Trophy third round.
