THERE is a lot to play for in the second half of the season with a number of local clubs in line for honours.
Widnes head Division One with Wirral in third. Warrington, Anselmians, Sefton and Ruskin Park are the top four in Division Two with Wallasey at the foot.
Oldershaw with 11 wins from 11 lead Division Three from Collegiate while Parkonians and West Park Warriors are alongside Linley and Ramsey in the Division Four promotion tussle.
Division One games for Saturday, if the weather relents, include Dukinfield v Hoylake, Ormskirk v Wirral, Burnage v Wigan and Sale v Widnes.
The Wallasey v Oldershaw Cheshire Plate quarter-final last weekend miraculously survived the weather with the tie switched to Belvidere from Cross Lane. Wallasey won 12-10 thanks to a late touch down. Mark Hallam hit a penalty and converted a Mark Warren try for Oldershaw.
