CHESTER, like many clubs, are without a fixture during the Easter weekend but it’s make or break time for them on Saturday week when they host Newport.
If they beat Newport and other results go right for them they could just snatch the runners-up position in Midlands One and with it a play-off for promotion.
Chester set up their play-off chance with a hard earned 25-17 victory at Malvern.
Tom Foden, Chris Lewis and Sean Green scored the tries.
Chester have still to finalise plans for their Cheshire Vase semi-final against Caldy which must be completed before the end of the month.
