HIGHFIELD are the only club in the Business Assistance Liverpool Competition First Division with a 100% record after an impressive seven-wicket win over Skelmersdale.
Chris Liptrot claimed 7-45 to fire Skem out for just 129 and the home side successfully progressed to 133-4 off 32.2 overs.
Rainhill are loving life back in the Competition and after winning their opening two games they enjoyed the better of a draw at Liverpool.
The visitors posed 226-8 off 61 overs. In reply Liverpool were in deep trouble at 35-6 but the lower order dug deep and they limped to 97-8 off 41 overs.

Shorrocks claimed 8-26 to help dismiss Ainsdale for just 63.

Karl Brown starred with both bat and ball to help Leigh beat Rainford by 37 runs.
Brown hit 90 in Leigh’s 205-9 off 63 overs as Pravin Tambe took 5-69.
Tambe then struck 68 but Brown had the last laugh with 4-50 as Rainford were dismissed for 168.
St Helens Recs are rooted to the bottom after they lost by 106 runs at Maghull.
Jonathan Ring (45) and Shane Townsend (40) led Maghull to 181-9 off 59 overs despite Gary Freeman taking 4-36.
Luke Swards struck 40 in Recs’ reply but they slumped to 75 all out with Paul Bower (4-28) and Ryan Swiers (3-39) doing the damage.
St Helens suffered a third straight defeat – going down by 93 runs at Orrell Red Triangle.
Richard Smith (82no) helped Orrell post 226-3 off 47 overs as St Helens were dismissed for 133.
