Wavertree win targeted

PRESCOT & Odyssey bid to halt the winning run of Wavertree in the Bromborough Paints Merseyside and Southport Alliance tomorrow.

The Prescot side under Greg Galbraith has made a steady start with all rounders Steve Holden and Trevor Fabien well to the fore and Wavertree after five successive victories will need to be wary.

Alder and Whitefield are next in line in the table behind Wavertree and face interesting home fixtures against Parkfield Liscard and Southport Trinity respectively.
