NEW Brighton posted their third victory in North One West by a 26-14 margin against Northwich.
The Blues often dominated but also had some nervy moments and did not make the game safe until the dying minutes against a Northwich side containing a cluster of their former players.
It is a wide open Division this season. New Brighton are among a cluster of sides with six points. Altrincham Kersal and Lymm head the table with eight points each.
A penalty try helped the Blues’ cause against Northwich.
Gaz Simpson and Andy Signal also crossed with Anthony Birley landing one conversion and a trio of penalties.
