Full strength Caldy look for Leicester Lions victory

CALDY look for their fifth win in six outings in National Two North League tomorrow.

It will not be easy against the Leicester Lions but home advantage should be enough. Caldy recently easily defeated Bradford and Bingley who overcame the Lions last weekend.

Caldy select from a full strength squad.

In the same division Waterloo travel to leaders Macclesfield but will have been heartened by last week’s first victory.

The season is now in full swing with mixed fortunes to date for local clubs. Birkenhead Park, after a narrow reverse at Cleckheaton, aim to bounce back in National Three North against workman-like Darlington Mowden Park at the Upper Park.

Chester should continue their high scoring against Cleckheaton. Tom Foden starts in the centre and Simon Verbickas expects to be fit to be his partner.

Luckless West Park bid to open their account at home to lowly Rochdale.

New Brighton in North One West could give a debut to student Chris Harrod at Sandbach. There are also away tasks for LSH at Vale of Lune and Leigh at leaders Altrincham Kersal.

Sefton at Marple in South Lancashire/Cheshire Two have back-row forward John Evans making his first appearance of the season after returning from honeymoon.

There are no Division Three fixtures with the next round of Cheshire Plate games scheduled for tomorrow.
