WATERLOO director of rugby Steve Moore was disappointed not to collect at least a bonus point from his side’s 74-19 National Two North defeat at leaders Loughborough Students.
He said: “We started poorly and allowed them to take an early lead but I was pleased with the way we bounced back and I think trailing by just 10 points at the break shows that we can play rugby.
“I was disappointed at the end as I felt that we were well capable of coming away with a losing bonus point
Waterloo now begin a run of four game against sides in the bottom half of the table starting this Saturday at home to Preston Grasshoppers.
