Chester look for wizardry

CHESTER are staging their in-house pantomime this week but they are determined there will be no slapdash approach when they play their next National Three North clash at home to Rochdale this Saturday.

The Hare Lane side has posted seven wins to date to sit fourth in the table behind Morley, Stockport and Sheffield Tigers.

Certainly Rochdale, with just three victories to date, should not stand in their way.

A free weekend has allowed the Chester players to re-charge their batteries and with no real injury problems there is a nice selection dilemma for head coach Dave Craven.

The club pantomime Wizard Of Oz begins a four-day run tomorrow. Tickets are available for the first performance and on Sunday, with Friday and Saturday sold out.

A bit of wizardry on the pitch would not go amiss as the Christmas spirit begins to take shape.
