RUGBY chairman Ian Worsley could not be at the helm in more testing conditions.
With no official replacement for coach Kevin Greaves on the horizon – despite a number of people being approached and interviewed – Worsley said: “I am in charge of the first team at the moment until we have the right man to take on the responsibility for the coaching.”
The new appointment is not the only frustration with the weather so unrelenting and the team reduced to a gym session on Knowsley Road to keep up any momentum.
Should the weather improve, West Park will host in-form Chester on Saturday.
