Woe for Chester at Beverley

LITTLE went right for Chester as they fell to defeat at Beverley in National Three North League.

There was never much in it but in the end they had to settle for a penalty in each half from Rhys Hayes. The winners scored a try and a penalty to lead 8-3 at the break and gained similar scores later.

Skipper Sean Green produced some good runs for Chester but lacked support.

It was disappointing to say the least and the lowly Yorkshire outfit deserved success on the day.
